PaySub (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a payment tracking and lien rights management tool for Canadian subcontractors, operated from Canada. Our website is paysub.ca.
2. Information We Collect
- Account information: name, email address, company name when you sign up
- Google account data: if you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google
- Project data: project details, payment application records, and documents you create in the app
- Billing information: handled by Stripe — we do not store credit card numbers
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, for improving the service
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the PaySub service
- To send payment reminder emails on your behalf to your clients
- To generate PDF documents (payment applications, lien notices)
- To process subscription billing via Stripe
- To communicate service updates and important notices
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Supabase — database and file storage (servers in Canada/US)
- Stripe — payment processing
- Clerk — authentication and identity management
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Vercel — hosting infrastructure
5. Data Retention
We retain your account and project data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
6. Security
We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security for database access, and third-party services that maintain SOC 2 compliance.
7. Your Rights

8. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication sessions. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
